
Paul Latos holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art from Glenville State College in Glenville, West Virginia. He also has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Ceramics from West Virginia University.
His pottery has been sold across the United States. His one-of-a-kind works and commissions have been sold to collectors in the U.S., Canada, China, Japan, Korea, and Ireland. He has exhibited is pottery in numerous regional and national exhibitions.
The majority of his production line is stoneware, reduction-fired in a gas kiln. He also works with high fire porcelain, raku, wood-fired, pit-fired, and wood-fired salt glazed ware. He sometimes utilizes vapor glazing and fuming to produce very unique and highly individualized works. He recently relocated his pottery to Wheeling, West Virginia, which will enable him to expand his line of work, and to develop new educational programs dealing with pottery and ceramics.
